The safety and well-being of all conference participants is our priority. After evaluating the current COVID-19 situation, a decision has been made to transform the in-person DIMVA2020 into a digital alternative.
Authors will be invited to provide videos of their presentations and to answer questions. The videos will be freely available on June 24, and the conference proceedings will be published on July 8.
The Detection of Intrusions and Malware & Vulnerability Assessment (DIMVA) annual conference serves as a premier forum for advancing the state of the art in intrusion detection, malware detection, and vulnerability assessment. Each year, DIMVA brings together international experts from academia, industry, and government to present and discuss novel research in these areas.
The 17th edition of DIMVA will be held in Lisbon, the captital of Portugal. DIMVA is organized by LASIGE, a research unit of the Faculty of Sciences of University of Lisboa (FCUL), and is hosted by the VIP Arts Hotel, located in Parque das Nações, close to the Tejo river.
DIMVA is organized by the special interest group Security – Intrusion Detection and Response (SIDAR) of the German Informatics Society (GI). The conference proceedings will appear in Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series.
